Measurement Definitions

Definitions, ISO 8559-1 references, and visual diagrams for every body measurement returned by the Bodygram Platform.

This page contains the list and definition of all the body measurements returned by the Bodygram API. For the API field names and units, see Platform measurements in the API reference.

Standardized measurements

Consistently measuring people is challenging. Not only do people come in all shapes and sizes, but there are also many opinions on how specific body parts should be measured. To address this, Bodygram defines its measurements according to well-established international standards such as ISO 7250-1 and ISO 8559-1. This guarantees that Bodygram measurements are relatable, consistent, and comparable across individuals and industries.
